Dave Ison Attends Public Charity Event Promoting Lung Health In Central Ohio

Local Recipients Share Stories About Support From The Breathing Association

Dave Ison, along with members of the central Ohio community, attended a luncheon sponsored by The Breathing Association of Columbus, May 10.

The event named, “Breathe the Story,” featured testimonials from recipients of lung care services offered by the Breathing Association. Recipients include people with breathing problems related to kidney disease, asthma, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Thousands of families in the Columbus area have benefited from the lung care services offered by the association.

Their testimonials are powerful and compelling. These people face life-threatening daily struggles. Without assistance from The Breathing Association, their lives would be seriously compromised.

“Most everyone I know has some personal knowledge of, story about, or a loved one with breathing problems,” Mr. Ison said. “We’ve had COPD and other substantial breathing issues in my family. It was a great pleasure to attend this luncheon. I feel strongly about helping this organization and to get its message out,” he said.

Speakers at the luncheon included outgoing Breathing Association Chair, P. Jeffrey Pizzola who is also the Group CFO and COO at Americana Development Inc., part of American Kenda Rubber Ind. Co., LTD.

Also in attendance was Angela An, a news anchor at WBNS-10TV, and a five-time Emmy award winner.

The luncheon was held at Villa Milano restaurant in Columbus.
